Independence from slumps, boos, you-name-it! The Nats won 5-4 on a walk-off wild pitch delivered by the Cubs’ Marmol in the bottom of the 10th inning. Most fans sweltering in the stands were not only hoping for a win, but a quick ending as well. Ok, at least I was! Happy 4th of July indeed! [ Photos on Flickr ]

4TH: Bernadina lets a high fly ball drop between him and Werth. Two runs score and the Cubs take the lead 3-2

6TH: Carlos Pena tagged out at home (inconclusive if he was safe or not) after Cubs take 4-2 lead when runner before him scored

7TH: Very pleased to see my mom does not participate in the wave (what the heck people, our pitcher was on the mound!)
