He came to DC last year on a moment's notice from his home in sunny San Diego, which should count for something. That's like moving from heaven to hell. I doubt he is demanding big bucks. I can't imagine why they would not want him back. It isn't like the Nationals have Vin Scully waiting in the wings. Darling left to go the Mets and Proctor was canned. Do we have a play by play announcer and a color guy? I haven't seen anything about this.
