Another late inning rally

And I was there! Woo! Flickr Set. Nook Logan had his second day in center field and managed to bunt for a hit, a new talent for some members of the Nationals. He also made another sweet catch. Great game! I sat in the 2nd row of section 311, so had a nice railing to balance the camera on, which helped immensely! I may need to look into getting a monopod or something. The only problem was being right next to an aisle and right behind a walkway – missed a few shots because it was such a high traffic area. Final: Diamondbacks 3 Nationals 5

We were given these tickets yesterday by friends and brought our 4 year-old daughter to the game. She surprised me by pointing out Soriano, Johnson, and Schneider by name! I guess she pays more attention than I thought! She was also asking questions about outs and who was on base, but mostly looked forward to the presidents race. I might have a little fan in the making yet!

The Nats staged yet another bottom of the 8th inning rally, pulling ahead by two runs after being down most of the game. Since they had already performed these heroics in the last few days, I never gave up on this game. Thankfully, I was rewarded!

It was nice meeting Dave and Watson from Nats Triple Play on the way out too! See, my jersey strikes again ;-)

Mission: Diamond Club. I am SO psyched for tomorrow’s game against the Cardinals! Can’t wait to see what kinda pics I get from there! (please please please let them win five in a row). (Pretty please let Gary Bennett be recovered and playing too!)
