Ladies Night Is Coming Back
August 12, 2007

Isn’t that picture awesome? We’re smiling because we had a great night and the Nationals won that game against the Rockies during the first Ladies Night at RFK. Well, save the date because the 2nd Ladies Night is coming on Thursday, September 20th! Thanks to Diane Roberts for passing along the photo. I’m loving this series.
In case you didn’t read to the bottom of my Discarded Peanut Shells post, the Nationals are holding a Baseball 101 Clinic for women on September 15th at RFK in the morning. I can hardly wait! Trust me, you’ll get full coverage of the event, but I highly recommend signing up!
* Good To Be a Girl: Speaking of Baseball 101 - Woohoo!! The Nationals are putting on a Baseball 101 clinic for women and I am SO psyched about it!
Saturday, Sept 15th 10:00 - 12:00 PM RFK Stadium
“Exclusive opportunity for women to learn Hitting, Pitching & Fielding with The Washington Nationals Coaches & Players Followed by Lunch with Bob Carpenter & Don Sutton”
Awesome! Awesome! This is *exactly* the kind of event I’ve been waiting for! I’m so excited. The cost is $75 and you can buy additional game tickets for that night’s game for $12. Registration must be received no later than September 7th. I have not seen this online, but I did see a stack of the registration forms behind section 313 or so (by the Sno Cone place on the 300 level - heh).
I can’t wait to get on the field and see how well (or not) I do. I hear they’ll also be teaching how to score, so if you’ve wanted to learn that, here’s an opportunity. I’m not sure how they’ll fit all that into two hours. I’ve sent my registration!
