Nationals Take Batting Practice at New Stadium
September 16, 2007
I arrived late, so have a completely different perspective than the rest of the media. I was walking down the road into left field and saw everyone, so froze and took video and photos from there. Wily Mo Pena hit a home run over the left field “wall” while I stood there. Pretty cool! (Click first photo and then mouse to the upper right for the “Next” button)

Awesome! I hated that fact that I had to miss this event!
FYI: We have Kasten on WPL this Wednesday.

Yeah, I saw some CSN people there and looked for you, then remembered you were in Jax! The baseball 101 clinic was awesome as well!

Lucky you. For a brief minute I thought about running down there. Alas, work got in the way, plus I’m not sure I’d have been able to sneak in anyway.
Thanks for the photoset, especially of the young fan in the hard hat. How neat will it be 50 years from now for her to point back and say “there I was”?

Thanks, Hendo! Yeah, it was very cool to be there. The little girl was adorable. It would be neat for her to see that picture in even 20 years!
