Yesterday’s Winter Tour announcement featuring Charlie Slowes as the master of ceremonies led many to believe his contract had been officially renewed despite no press release confirming. Suck that sigh of relief back in - apparently the assumption was incorrect. According to Barry Svrluga, everyone is still keeping mum about the whole contract thing.

2. Charlie Slolwes will be working the Nationals Winter Tour (or at least part of it) without a contract, apparently. Club said yesterday they have no announcement. Slowes still staying mum. This might be an opportunity for fans who are concerned about this to tell Charlie how they feel — or the Nats, for that matter.
