custom scorebook v2

I conceded that his is smaller and fits in my bag better, but for me to match plays to photographs, this works so much better for me. I’m a linear chronological kind of person, I guess. I tend to forget to move over a column after inning changes and end up with an eraser marred mess using traditional scoring systems. Plus, I love to write little notes and commentary, as you can see. Remember last season, I had to turn pages when I compacted this into a smaller binder? This year I threw caution (and lack of binding issues) to the wind and went full-page side-by-side. So how is it holding up? Well, it made it through the other night’s 14 inning affair without any problems!

Speaking of photography, expect game sets to also become new and improved! Transporting the Geico Gecko was the last hurrah for me and my ‘Stang. I sold it within 24 hours of posting the ad on cars.com and stirred up a little neighborhood excitement yesterday afternoon when it was picked up by a transporter (in good company with a Lamborghini and Corvette!) in prep to head down to its new home in Florida. Now, this would normally have me bawling my eyes out. I loved that car! However, I worked out a compromise with Mr. Chatter and was able to use some of the money from the sale on a new camera and lens. So woo!! I’m so excited! They should arrive before the next homestand…
