So Much For More Boone

Ok, I know injuries are part of a regular baseball season on any team, but does it seem like it’s taking a bit more of a toll on the Nationals this year than most other teams? I mean, geez! I, you know, have a job, so I didn’t pay full attention to today’s game, but I sorta paid attention because just in case they won, I wasn’t going to miss it this time! Apparently I missed the part where Aaron Boone left the game in the sixth inning with a neck strain. At least it looks like he’ll only be out a day or two. Whew!

Tyler Clippard will be back to start Saturday in place of Odalis Perez again. Looks like OP may be heading to the DL with the rest of the crew. Paul Lo Duca will probably return for the next series, which leaves big question marks regarding the status of Jesus Flores and Wil Nieves.
