Lot 7 Tomorrow
June 28, 2008
Is a rivalry really starting with the Orioles? Or do the Orioles have more fans than were believed to exist? Last night’s game topped attendance records since opening night and a packed house is expected tomorrow afternoon for the final game in the O’s/Nats series at 1:35 PM. It is also a DC United game day, so RFK parkers need to remember to park in Lot 7. Lot 7 may be accessed off the Whitney Young Bridge (East Capitol Street) or off of Oklahoma Avenue. You can also pay for parking in three cash lots — Green Lot HH, Orange Lot W, or Orange Lot T; or use the Nationals Park valet service. See “Way To Go” for more information.
We’re going to try to boat to the stadium tomorrow. Wish me luck finding place to tie the boat up!
It’s also “conversion day”. Bring an item (or as many as you want, but you only get 1 in return per fan) from another team and receive Nationals ball cap made of biodegradable, recycled, organic material in partnership with Exxon-Mobil and the Alliance To Save Energy. All non-Nationals merchandise will be donated to Goodwill of Greater Washington to support job training programs for people with disadvantages or disabilities in the greater Washington, DC area.
