Well, at least Jesus Flores really was day to day

Jesus Flores was back behind the plate, and thank goodness for umpire interference (or maybe the throw would have been spot on without it?). Nahh! Not the way fortunes have been going lately.
I hope the Phililes fans enjoyed their “Cheer Night”. We rolled over, but didn’t necessarily play dead, leading for much of the game.
Work is sucking the life and spare time out of me lately. My family even misses me more than usual. So quiet on the homefront for a bit. I might have to start posting one liners or do a reverse twitter-feed where my tweets are posted here as blog posts. Ha.

I would think the Nats are sucking the life out of you.

Heh. I’m trying not to let something I enjoy so much suck the life out of me, so I’m paying attention but ignoring it at the same time. Plus, 5 spare minutes here and there isn’t enough time to mull over the season, which is probably a good thing.

That’s 11 on the spin in DC’s quest to be the only team in Baseball with 100 losses. :-<
I could’ve changed to any other team when the Expos folded, but no, we carry on in search of the elusive 81 wins.
Maybe 2010.
When I’m older and wizened, I’ll turn to my kids and say ‘I remember when my baseball team lost 102 games in 2008′
And they’ll say ‘Baseball? That’s a bit like rounders, isn’t it?’

I’m afraid to admit I’m going to have to Google rounders. Is that like cricket? :-)
