Cross-posted at CSNwashington.com. Many thanks to Michelle Scalise for the fantastic video work again! Saturday, June 19, 2010 6:38pmBy Miss ChatterCSNwashington.comIf given a chance to walk on the springy outfield grass of an MLB ballpark, shag flies and grounders, try your best changeup or fastball in the bullpen and swing at soft-toss pitching, would you take it? For me, the answer is "Heck yes!!" even if it means getting critiqued by those at the top. In fact, I crave the professional ... Continue Reading

Winter Caravan – PG Sports & Learning Complex

Posted on January 31, 2010 at 11:20 am

New Nat, Jason Marquis, as you can plainly see! I spent much of yesterday trying to put names to new Nats faces and commit them to memory so I wouldn't goof up any of the photo captions. It’s probably a good thing I have none of those dangly somewhat spherical objects at all, as I’ve been straddling a fence (hopefully not picket) ... Continue Reading

Nationals DC Public High School Initiative

Posted on April 5, 2009 at 11:05 am

[Photoset] The DC City Council is again talking baseball, but this time without all the arguments and bickering. The Nationals have voiced a commitment to improving athletics and education in DC since the Lerner's acquired the team, and yesterday announced one more step toward their goal of improving youth baseball and hopefully someday grooming locally grown talent. In a press conference (ooh! my first time in the press conference room at Nats Park!) prior to yesterday's final spring training game ... Continue Reading
