Sunday afternoon, Nationals Park went to the dogs, but that wasn't a bad thing. Don't look now, but the Nats have quite the little win streak going since being swept by the Cubs with a new-look lineup that features Adam Kennedy leading off and Zimmerman and Dunn in the 4th and 5th spots. 08-29-10 Pups In The Park

The day went to the dogs, but that wasn't a bad thing. Dogs of all sizes and personalities took to the left field mezzanine for the 2nd time this season and woofed in a win. Last night in between returning from a west coast road trip and beginning a home stand against the Marlins, Ryan Zimmerman hosted the inaugural fundraising event, nicknamed ZimmsFest, for the ziMS Foundation at Nationals Park. The ziMS Foundation is the near and dear to his heart 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded by Nationals third baseman Ryan Zimmerman in 2006 to help find a cure for multiple sclerosis, a condition that has affected his mother Cheryl since Ryan was a teenager. Yeehaaa! The Bullpen outdoor bar across from the Centerfield Gate at Nationals Park opens at 1 PM Saturday and will have a mechanical bull. Awesome. I am so there! Nats U will wrap at 11 and then the game is at 4, so that fits perfectly in between. Who's with me?! Continue Reading

There are only three days left to get your tickets to the Night Among the Stars fundraiser hosted by Leukemia and Lymphoma Society woman of the year "Stand Up Take Notice" candidate Lisa Pagano.
