Breaking news has moved to Twitter (and so have I for the most part), print paper is dying, so they say, and well, scoring baseball games is headed in that direction as well. A little over a year ago, I met Jennifer Hammond during the "Inaugural Ball Walk". Jennifer is a baseball player and also in charge of marketing/publicity for the Eastern Women's Baseball Conference (EWBC). As I mentioned back then, I'd love to play, but sadly still haven't been able to find a way to fit it into my chaotic life (wow, that post was two years ago!). I'm pretty sure I have two freebie Bob Carpenter scorebooks floating around somewhere that I've been unable to locate. I've decided they're the right size to fit into the back of my camera bag and I'll just adapt to the traditional scoring system. Maybe. I may end up printing and binding a homemade book again. Tonight on MASN - the Florida Marlins take on the Washington Nationals with former Marlin, Scott Olsen the slated starting pitcher. Tonight will provide Nats fans with the first opportunity to hear new broadcaster Rob Dibble in the Nationals booth. Can't wait!! Plus, remember the previous marketing campaigns targeting opponents?
