Dude swiped my post!

Posted on April 24, 2006 at 12:56 pm

It's Gyro Monday! Woohoo! (someday I'll attempt to diet again, I swear) I'm so predictable. I overslept this morning due to the late game last night and rushed out of the house without my trusty laptop. Instead of soaking up the sun using the wireless in my esteemed workplace courtyard to write a well thought-out (?) post, I'm munching away at my desk. Keeping fingers crossed til Friday! On that touchy topic: Kasten, who until recently had headed his own group of investors, may bring some minority partners with him, which would contribute to the diversity of the Lerner group, sources said. Slam, dunk?! (And ... Continue Reading

Posted on April 18, 2006 at 10:38 am

The MainStream Media is getting hot and heavy on the ownership issue as Friday (yet another deadline) approaches. Today, Marc Fisher lists the pros and cons of the three purported top contenders. The only thing he forgot under the Lerner's "Upside" section is the fact that if the rumors that Stan Kasten is partnering up with them turn out true, they also have the successful baseball team management experience, as well as the minority investors from what I've read previously. ...
