Deadline Pressure

Posted on March 1, 2007 at 2:38 pm

I apologize for the quickie posts the last few days - I'm particularly ashamed since according to my stats, the season is beginning to ramp up and more folks are stopping by here (hi!). Although, maybe the short posts without a "More" link are more appealing to those short attention-span internet surfers? I've been under some pretty tight deadlines lately and had to, ya know, accomplish stuff for a while there. I'm going to be writing a book! I'd love ... Continue Reading

Recognizable Rotation?

Yes, I realize I've taken several photos of him and mentioned him since he arrived, but that does not indicate my full support in his bid despite a couple fantastic catches out there. He's just the recent novelty paraded around in the center ring of the circus that has become the Nationals center field - Brandon Watson V2.0, if you will. ... Continue Reading

How about those catchers?

Posted on August 25, 2006 at 1:40 pm

Blogging is bad for the health. I had this urge to go for a run today at lunch, but blew it off in favor of blogging. I was signed up to race participate in a triathlon on Sunday, but I'm blowing that off too as I haven't trained at all this summer. Hmm... blogging > training. I need to find a better balance! Anyway, today's topic is catchers, one of my favorites! With no Nats game to watch last ... Continue Reading
