I did it! I was quite impressed I successfully installed the new stereo and everything worked. Well, with one caveat. I couldn’t figure out how to replace the existing backup camera. The cables / wiring were different, so I wasn’t even sure splicing would work. I’m still calling this success, even if it still has the original backup camera (which looks even worse on the bigger higher resolution screen).
