Since Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon are so close, and Zion is really a “drive through” park, we drove through Zion and had a camping reservation at Bryce for the night.
Zion was really nice, scenic to drive through, and the long tunnel was something! Very dark inside. We stopped at just about every pull-out. The temperature that day was well over 100*, so really hot. We ate lunch at a restaurant on the other end of the park, and then drove back through to exit.
We were joking about the “jumping elk” signs, many of which had flashing lights.
We arrived at Bryce Canyon later in the afternoon, so only did a small section of the rim trail before returning to the van. A Ford Transit was camped in front of us and I didn’t notice any big name RV companies on it, so was intrigued. I started looking up the interior dimensions in comparison to the Promaster.
