I was really missing my view of the water while being camped out in the front yard. I had the brilliant idea to relocate my tent to the top of the carport. Not so brilliant, actually. The roof was lumpy and had weak spots, and it was rather precarious, not to mention having to climb a ladder to get all my equipment up there and also tie the tent down to the posts so it didn’t blow over.
Needless to say that didn’t last long. I can see the fence between the house and carport is still there in this picture, but I think for our anniversary, my gift was a macerator and taking down that portion of the fence so we could relocate the van to the back yard.
I had seen a post on TOWB with a list of parts links on Amazon on how to pump tanks via macerator through a garden hose to a septic clean out. Color me intrigued! We could move and have a view of the water all the time!
Somehow this spans our anniversary that year, so I guess that was our exciting celebration.
