My main initial focus after clearing the driveways was the back yard so I could move the van back there for a feeling of normalcy in returning to my van down by the river. A new storm, Nicole, was inbound, so I kept moving the van around the yard looking for the highest ground. I ultimately landed on the elevated spot where the lightning struck Live Oak had been taken out near the corner of the house, leaving behind a stump and bit of a mound.
