Happy New Year! This is our last night in Florida in 2022 (and the foreseeable future – we start the trek back to California tomorrow). The yard is (mostly) done. The house is repaired. We got to spend precious time with our grandbaby, N. Family came to visit. A thought she was going on vacation and had to do manual labor (and she did!). I’m leaving behind my “van down by the river” days for now and returning to “normal” life. We crossed midnight watching the fireworks across the river.
