Happy birthday to this guy, who I’m sure is spending it the way he always dreamed! In a van! Multnomah Falls to Crater Lake, OR. We stopped in a town on the way and strolled through the art festival going on, as well as picked up some food truck food.
From there we stopped to take in the view at Crater Lake and wound down a road and found a forest service or BLM camping area, which turned out to be a parking lot since it was dark when we arrived. In the morning, we discovered there were some sites down a hill in the corner of the lot while walking Riley, but that’s ok.
