Setting Up Florida Office : October 2021

I went through a few iterations of trying to set up a comfortable and functional office in the van. Despite the heat and humidity, I ended up setting up a tent by the river. However, the blue fabric made me look like a Smurf during video meetings and lighting became difficult as the sun set long before my west coast hours of the day were done.

I also hadn’t quite reframed my mindset yet that this was a tiny house on wheels and not camping. So I was still doing pour-over coffee with water boiled in a kettle on the stove, which left a lot to be desired when waking up and wanting a cup of coffee immediately.

Also, KT got me this awesome coffee mug.

Swiveled the passenger seat around and used the airline table as a desk. A little cramped.

Hung a curtain across the bathroom doors and sat on the bed, which makes access difficult for bio breaks.

The umbrella was to prevent any rain that soaked through the canopy, but also had a white underside to try to defray the Smurf look
